Langhe has DOC status, is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and stretches out like a colorful carpet of hills.
Piedmont is less than 2 hours from Milan airport. This trip can be combined with the beautiful lakes Lago Maggiore, Lago Lugano or Lago Como. They are only about two hours from the heart of Piedmont. Possibly combined with a visit (skiing opportunities) in the Alps towards Switzerland.
We tailor the tour based on your wishes and needs, as well as the type of group. This way we ensure that you have the best possible experience with us.
Tuscany

We will show you the fanatical nature of this region. Visit both famous and lesser-known vineyards in Chianti, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Bolgheri and other areas. Learn about winemaking and taste local wines, often combined with lunch or dinner at the vineyards.
We also offer cooking classes in Tuscan farms. On the tours we visit villages and cities such as Florence, Siena and Pisa, offering guided tours among art treasures and historical monuments. In Greve-in-Chianti you can visit the wine museum and shop at the famous butcher Falorni. In Pienza you can buy the famous Pecorino cheese.
Vineyard visits can be combined with cooking classes, gourmet restaurants and cultural experiences. We have contacts with wine producers and wine importers, and offer trips for companies, wine clubs and organizations. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or a beginner, we will arrange the trip as you wish.
Champagne

We'll take you to the Paradise of bubbles. Chamopage is only 1.5 hours from Paris. So how about combining it with a trip to the metropolis?
We will take you to the big, famous Champagne houses and the small, lesser-known farms with high quality. Here are several "secrets" we would like to show you and your group.
If you want to take a walk along the vines, watch the harvest, or learn how Champagne is produced, we will show you.
You get so happy with good bubbles - and completely addicted:
I drink my champagne when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. If I have company, I consider it mandatory. I sip it when I'm not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise, I never touch it – except when I'm thirsty.
Champagne also offers a wealth of excellent restaurants, ranging from Michelin stars to the coziest hidden gems.
It can also be nice to cycle in Champagne - and you will get in shape between wine visits.
We adapt according to your wishes - we have the experience and ensure that the program flows smoothly - and with enough breaks to digest the great impressions.
Rioja

We take you on a unique journey through Spanish history. This is one of the richest regions in Spain - and a truly exciting experience.
We visit famous wineries with historical roots from the monks, we can experience world-class food and exciting Spanish history. We taste and sense our way through the wine district where we visit and often stay in the famous wine village of Haro, in the heart of Rioja Alta. We can also visit, historic Logroño, which has a long history and roots dating back to before the Pilgrimage.
About Rioja:
Rioja is known for its high-quality wines. The region is located in the northern part of Spain and is divided into three sub-regions: Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa, and Rioja Oriental. Rioja wines are mainly made from red grapes, but white and rosé wines are also produced.
Rioja is 1.5 hours from Bilbao airport. This trip can be combined with visits to the gourmet city of San Sebastian, the capital Vitoria-Gasteiz with its cider production, exciting Pamplona, Bilbao with the Guggenheim and many other exciting places in the region.

Cognac

Cognac is not just a drink – it is an expression of time, patience and tradition. In the small region in southwest France, between Bordeaux and the Atlantic, some of the world's most refined spirits are created. Here, wine is distilled into noble grape brandy according to strict rules and ancient methods, before it is slowly matured in oak barrels – often for decades.
At Vinreisen, we take you to the heart of Cognac production: to family-run houses and cellars that ooze history. You'll experience how climate, soil and barrel aging shape the character – from fresh, floral VSOP to deep, complex XO.
We learn how to taste cognac like a wine: look at the color, breathe in the aromas of dried fruit, leather and vanilla, and let the taste fill your mouth with warmth and elegance. And as always on the Wine Journey, we combine knowledge with experience – preferably a glass in your hand, good food on the table and good stories around it.
Burgundy

Burgundy is the very heart of French wine tradition – a patchwork of vineyards, villages and family-run domains that have perfected the art of expressing soil through wine. Here it’s all about terroir – the interaction between soil, climate and people – and nowhere else in the world do the vineyards tell their stories with such nuance.
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the stars of this classic wine landscape. From the elegant reds of Côte de Nuits to the mineral whites of Meursault and Chablis, Burgundy shows that greatness often lies in simplicity. Every village, every hillside and every vineyard has its own character, and the wines reflect this with precision and finesse.
At Vinreisen, we convey the soul of Burgundy through taste and place. We visit producers who will let you know the difference between Premier Cru and Grand Cru, and we combine the tastings with local gastronomy – creamy cheese, truffles and classic dishes from the Burgundy kitchen. It is a journey in taste, craftsmanship and history – for those who seek the genuine and timeless.
Sicily

Sicily is the treasure trove of the Mediterranean – an island where vines grow among olive trees, lemon groves and volcanic hillsides. Here tradition and renewal meet in a landscape that oozes life and character. The island’s winemaking tradition dates back thousands of years, but today’s Sicily is more vibrant than ever – a place where young winemakers are breathing new life into old vineyards and forgotten grape varieties.
The black, mineral-rich soil around Etna produces some of Italy's most exciting wines - elegant, pure and with a freshness that surprises. Grapes like Nerello Mascalese and Carricante tell the story of heights, lava and sea breezes. Further south, we find powerful, sun-ripened Nero d'Avola wines and aromatic whites with hints of citrus, herbs and salty sea air.
At Vinreisen, we let Sicily show its diversity – from modern wine cellars in the mountainsides to small, family-run farms where everything is still done by hand. We taste the wines where they belong – under the open sky, with local dishes, seafood and true Sicilian hospitality.
This is a journey to the heart of the Mediterranean – where the sun never stops shining, and the wine always tastes of the place it comes from.
Bubbles in the blood

Champagne has its very own place with us – and it gets the place it deserves.
But the world of sparkling wine is far bigger, more varied and full of surprises. From Spain to Italy and into Austria and England, we find winemakers creating bubbles with as much craftsmanship, pride and personality as Champagne – often at a far more accessible price.
In Catalonia, Cava is made from classic grapes such as Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel·lo. The method is the same as in Champagne – metodo tradicional – with a second fermentation in the bottle. The result is wines with freshness, nuttiness and an elegant mousse, perfect for tapas, seafood or a warm summer evening in Barcelona.
In Italy we find Prosecco, the happy, light and fruity bubbly from Veneto. Here the Glera grape is used, and the wine gets its sparkling character through the Charmat method, where the bubbles are formed in large tanks before bottling. Prosecco is about the joy of life – about laughter, snacks and aperitivo in the sun.
Further south in Sicily and southern Italy, we find an increasing number of producers making metodo classico wines from local grapes – often on par with small Champagne houses, but with a southern expression. In Franciacorta in Lombardy, the Italians take bubbles very seriously: here, complex, aged sparkling wines are made using the same method as in Champagne, but with Italian warmth and fullness.
And then there’s Crémant – France’s elegant alternative, produced in regions like Alsace, Burgundy and Loire. Here you’ll find everything from fresh, floral varieties to ripe, mineral wines – always made using the traditional method, but with grapes and terroir that give it its own distinct character.
At Vinreisen, we look beyond Champagne and explore these sparkling regions – where craftsmanship, climate and culture meet in the glass.
From the chalky cellars of cava to the sunny hills of prosecco, from the sophisticated wine cellars of Franciacorta to the cool chalk landscapes of England – we find the stories behind the bubbles, the people who make them, and the moments that make them special.
Where should you stay and what should we experience? Can you cycle?

A trip to Europe’s bubbly regions isn’t just about wine – it’s about lifestyle, landscape and culture. Whether you’re in the sunny hills of Prosecco, the elegant wine regions of Franciacorta or the green valleys of Catalonia, you’ll find small family-run hotels and wineries that welcome you with warmth and charm. In many places, you can stay in the middle of the vineyards, wake up to views of rows of grapes and start your day with a local breakfast on the terrace.
Experiences range from guided tastings and cellar visits to cooking classes, picnics in the vineyards and leisurely bike rides between villages. Several of the regions – such as Prosecco and Loire – have well-marked bike routes that allow you to experience nature, wine and culture at your own pace. It is possible to combine visits to wineries with short stops in local villages, lunch at a trattoria and perhaps a swim in a lake along the way.
With Vinreisen, we make it possible for you to experience the best of both worlds – the bubbles in the glass, and the freedom on two wheels.
